In a world saturated with images, Fox captures something so authentic unique and rare…the Spirit of her subjects + a Piece of HERSELF.
Cheryl Fox is an acclaimed photographer, storyteller and Chief Creative Officer of The Fox Factory, whose work has earned her recognition for its intimate and insightful portrayal of iconic figures in music, sports, and entertainment. Her photography transcends mere image-making, offering a powerful narrative that connects with viewers on a deeper level. Her latest coffee-table book, "A Few Good WMN," with a foreword by Regina Hall, is a celebration of womanhood, exploring Cheryl's personal journey alongside the remarkable women she has photographed. This project reflects her growing awareness of the power and magic of the journey of womanhood.
Fox's career has organically evolved through word-of-mouth referrals, starting with fine art and expanding into commissioned commercial work for key art, editorial covers, album packaging, and ad campaigns. In 2025, she signed with IMAJ Artists for commercial and editorial representation. Demonstrating her innovative spirit, Fox has used AI to illustrate two children's books from poems written by her son, “Lil’ Brown Boy” and “Mean Big Bother.” Her limited-edition coffee table book, "Rock n' Roll of HIP HOP," captures a unique era of the genre. She is also a creator of digital assets, including NFTs.
A passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, Fox believes in the transformative power of representation. She has shared her insights at prominent events, including Advertising Week, the World Woman Foundation at the UNGA, the Grammy Museum, and with luxury fashion partner Max Mara. Her speaking engagements focus on the importance of embracing diversity and creating inclusive spaces. Her current focus is on "Incrementality" and its impact on brand engagement.
Cheryl Fox's work not only showcases the beauty and talent of her subjects but also sparks meaningful conversations about the power of art and the importance of representation. She strives to create visual narratives that challenge stereotypes and promote unity. She believes that art can ignite change and is committed to contributing to a world where everyone's stories and contributions are acknowledged, respected, and celebrated.
